Animal Chatter is the public home for my research on animal communication, bioacoustics, vocal learning, and vocal sequences.

This blog is where I will share Field Notes, Project Updates, Reading Syntheses, and Methods & Tools. Expect short posts with photographs, figures, videos, and questions from work in progress.

When a result is preliminary or an interpretation may change, I will say so directly and link to the relevant project or publication.
