A short note on what this website is for and what will appear here.

This site is a home for my research on animal communication, bioacoustics, and vocal sequence structure.

I wanted one place where papers, ongoing work, short explanations, and a current CV are easy to find without sending people through several different links.

Over time, I plan to use the blog for short research notes, pointers to new papers, and writing that sits somewhere between a lab notebook and a public-facing article.
