A thesis project on how fission-fusion social structure predicts longitudinal change in vocal repertoires.
My research asks how complex vocal behaviour is shaped by learning, social structure, and interaction. I work across birds and primates, combining behavioural observation, acoustic analysis, quantitative modeling, and experimental design.
The project pages below are written to be readable both for collaborators in neighbouring fields and for visitors who are encountering this work for the first time.
